Acceptable Use

Market manipulation: coordinated buying or selling calls, pump-and-dump organisation, or posting information you know to be false to move a price.

Undisclosed paid promotion, referral spam, airdrop farming, and repeated posting of the same message or link.

Presenting yourself as a licensed financial adviser, or presenting your posts as regulated investment advice.

Scams: fake giveaways, phishing links, wallet-draining sites, fake support accounts, and requests for anyone’s seed phrase, private key or exchange credentials.

Impersonating another person, project or company, including using their name or logo in a way meant to mislead.

Harassment, threats, hate speech, or content that targets a person or group.

Anything illegal where you live, and anything that breaks the rules of the exchanges whose data we show.

Scraping, automated posting, or hitting our endpoints in a way that degrades the service for others.

Links: comments and chat messages cannot contain a web address. Posts with a link are rejected as they are written, so a scam link never reaches the page.

We act on reports and on signs of abuse. We can remove a comment, mute an account in the community, suspend an account, and report unlawful activity to the authorities.

Accounts closed for breaking this policy are not refunded.

Every comment has a report button — use it and a moderator will look at the post. For anything more serious, write to contactmail.bsam@gmail.com with as much detail as you have. We look at every report.
